initially put on high dose (10)mg to bring down HBP resulted in coming down too low and had LBP after visit to the Emergency Room. Best to have a cardiologist do the fine tuning on BP meds and not leave to a GP. Felt it was working well in conjunction with Benezepril med and dissipating some of my mild stroke symptoms. Doing hese meds in conjunction with largely fruits and veges diet, weight loss

I have been taking this medicine for 2 years and over the past year I had lots of problems with swelling in my legs & a rash. I was given creams and Bactrim for the rash but it continued to get worse. I was given Lasix & potassium for the swelling but it continued so after stress tests & an echocardiogram & a ultrasound for blood clots which all came back negative...My Dr. increase

I have had gum surgery (gingivectomy surgery) and will have the third surgery due to this calcium channel blocker. It worked great for the blood pressure but not for the gums. When I mentioned this to the pharmacist he knew exactly what I was talking about.
I will go on an ace inhibitor for blood pressure and then have my lat gum surgery.
