Was place on flecanide more than 12 years ago for a fib. After 1 dose (low dose), my a fib generally disappeared except for occasional short episodes. Was so well controlled I was off my warfarin for 3 years. After 12 years with great control of a fib (low dose) it lost effectiveness about 1 year ago. After two failed catheter ablations, this stuff keeps me in rhythm. Still sensitive to: caffeine, dehydration, really low or high blood sugar, alcohol (even a full glass of wine)
