I was prescribed this ointment 2% for MRSA outbreaks. I had been having problems with boils on my arms, legs, back, scrotum, nose, etc. They tried Bactrim first and it seemed to work along with Epsom salts lotion. I would get an outbreak, get treatment (not Bactrim each time, but a 7-day antibiotic and after it was over I got MRSA boils back again. This ointment seems to be most effective in my no...

So I’m a lady weighing 90kg and I have been battling with Erythrasma for 2 years now when i treat it , it always reoccurs in 2-3 weeks so I use this cream which clears it for me but makes me sweat cause of the little hot burning effect and it makes me sweat more in my buttock crease and groin but it does it job but my condition still keeps reoccurring ??.

Had itchy peeling skin on eyelid that would flake and get red and sore than seem to get a bit better with use of triple antibiotic cream and then come back/start over again, repeatedly…. Dermatologist recmd/prescribed 2% Mupiriocin cream and I applied following shower and before going to bed (small amount applied with Q tip) Two weeks of application and condition seemed cured so stopped use and have not had any recurrence. Strongly recommend IF prescribed by dermatologist and applied as instructed (takes very little, I think in two weeks I used less than 5% of small tube).Read More Read Less

It was easy to use, and I think it helped, though it could be that it was getting better at that rate anyway. But the problem was, it makes me so itchy. I put it on my skin for a few days before I had to stop because it made the area feel hot and I had to consciously stop myself from scratching because I was so itchy.

I had a knee replacement done recently. They gave me this medication to take seven days prior to the operation to not get MRSA and it worked! I haven’t been sick yet all year I put a dab of my nose and I know I won’t get sick. The stuff is gold.

Started using this cream (mupirocin) for an infection on my left leg caused from working in a briar patch. After 2 days of use the wounds grew extremely large and painful. Stopped use and started triple antibiotic ointment and the wound is slowly healing. I can not recommend this medication.

I had a small foot wart, the region is still healing and it's unclear to me if this ointment was the game changer for the recovery of my foot but I'm satisfied with the results. I took cryotherapy also so maybe that was the thing that removed my foot wart.

I use this when Neosporin just isn't enough. I have had historical problems with skin infections for many years - this is the backup medication of choice. 1 to 3 days and the infection is much better.

So I’ve been using this medication for 2days and baby! When I tell you it’s a BIG BIG help and sort of a pain reliever for me because when I didn’t have it to put on, my left leg would be on fire and so painful and I finally went to the doctor literally yesterday and my legs went from being extremely swollen and painful too… Slightly swollen and no PAIN.

I burned my hand after I almost burned my kitchen down. As I took the pan off the stove the fire went over the back of my hand I had some second degree burns. Area is almost healed and it’s only been two weeks.

Doctor prescribed it for me because my chin broke out so bad. It turned into staph or impetigo. Put it on for 3 days every night and it went away. Only thing that’s left is some scaring unfortunately. But overall worked great for me personally.

I had an extremely bad case of dry hands and fingers. My fingers would split open and bleed without any warning. I was in sooo much pain and never experienced something like this in my life. Doctor prescribed Mupirocin 2% and was having very little improvement. So I bought OTC O'Keeffes working hands cream. It worked like a gem and my hands finally healed.

I developed a large blister and hoped the skin would stay intact but it tore immediately, leaving a quarter sized sound in my palm. I had mupirocin on hand for past bouts of MRSA in the nose, so I cleaned the are, and used the 2% mupirocin for 3 days now, with the wound covered, and healing is progressing quickly. This ointment works great for me to both treat or prevent skin infections.

I use a CPAP machine. One nostril kept getting very sore on the inside due to the nasal cannula. I was about to look for an alternative to the CPAP because of recurrence. However, my primary care prescribed this product and after two uses, I never had nasal tissue problems at all. THIS WAS A MIRACLE DRUG FOR ME.

Medication was easy to apply, mild burning and sharp stinging occurred after application for five to ten minutes. At night to keep ointment in place while sleeping, affected area was covered in gauze then wrapped with an ace bandage to keep from coming off. Response to ointment was immediately noticeable by next day and by third day, most of the infected area had either cleared up or become very close to it. Infection appeared to have been stopped by fifth day. As per doctor's instruction, continued application for an additional three days then stopped.Read More Read Less
