I was admitted to the hospital with a 5.4 blood level. Was released with a 8.4 after transfusions. Was prescribed this medication and was tested 2 weeks later with a 10.8. Seems effective. Must take on empty stomach with orange juice. Has warning not to lie down within 30 minutes of taking medication. Was a little nauseous for a couple of days.

Taken 1X daily to treat borderline anemia level of 10.5. In the past had transfusions to treat significantly lower levels. Did not make me nauseous as expected. I like that the Vitamin C is included, as iron supplements taken in the past with orange juice did make me ill. Does give me a feeling of fullness within a few hours of ingesting. One month later, iron levels are acceptable in order for me...

Began this med after surgery in 2004 for anemia. Was on 2x daily, now 1 x daily. Iron, folic acid and Vit C levels all within normal range for past 4 yrs. Comes with all necessary warnings on medicine flyer and pharms. put on container as well. Highly recommend based on my experience.

In the world of multiple drugs taken daily this iron pill has too many restrictions on when and how to take. It has caused me nausea and vomiting when taken near any other drugs and there should be stickers on the bottle warning the side effects and how to take!!The vomiting causes the loss of all meds taken previosly and their ability to be effective.
