I've been taking adderall for six years now, and I feel that without it I am far less likely to succeed. This medication has helped me tremedously in Middle and High school, as well as now in college.

I can concentrate and finish school work. Ritalin didnt work but this makes me actually function like I should. (Words of my 16 y.o. son with ADHD-Adderall means the difference between "A"s and "F"s for Him. Affects appetite and sleep minimally.

My son in law has become a different person while on adderall. He is now hostile and violent hears things that are not there has become paranoid and driven. He is arrogant and actually has manic episodes- This was one of the nicest people I have ever known and this is a real tragedy. Totally kills sex drive. My dose (150 mg.) seems to wear off after approx. 8 hours. The positive effect is I am totally focused and able to concentrate better (for 8 hours)than when I was not taking the medication.

the medicine makes it hard for me to have an appitite. If i get to hungry then i will get sick and throw up.
