I haven't had any bad experience with the NuvaRing. Its comfortable (I never feel it when inserted) and has never just came out on its own. Would recommend this to anyone!

First of all, my oral contraceptive medical history to give you an idea of what I've been on. I was on Microgestin Fe 1/20 for a year (spotting, nausea), Gildess for 6 months (nausea, moodiness, lower sex drive), and Gianvi for 2 weeks (generic of Yaz- I hated this. have been on nuvaring for about a year after trying countless pill form bc. I love it. hate to tell ya ladies but there will ALWAYS be some side effect with whatever birth control you're on! mine was a bit of acne, but that was tolerable. worth how easy it was.

I've been on this birth control for almost three years and am just now switching. It worked very effectively with minimal side effects for the first two and a half years. I've had no spotting, clear skin, and no changes in mood. I experienced slight weight gain, but that was mostly to due to an increased appetite I had to learn to control. I take BC more to keep my cramps at bay than to prevent pregnancy but so far (9 months of use) NuvaRing has done both. Like everybody else says, periods are like clockwork and a lot easier to deal with. The only side effects I had was my boobs got bigger (no complaining on that one) and there is an increase in vaginal discharge. In my experience, guys can usually only feel it with their finger ...
