I began taking NuvaRing while getting my bachelor's degree, because I constantly would forget to take my oral birth control. I discussed it with my OBGYN, and with the NuvaRing, I feel much safer, because I know I am on it, and it is so easy to remember. Loved it! Worked well. Easy to use. No weight gain. No other symptoms. Too expensive though, at close to $50/month, I had to switch to a pill.

This would be the ideal BC EXCEPT I got pregnant on this within the first month of using unlike any other BC I've ever used (pills, condoms, diaphragm, the sponge). It failed. The most major flaw of this seemingly simple BC is that if it falls out which is highly likely to happen-you may not notice. I used the Nuva Ring for about 7 years. I got pregnant on it twice. The first time due to antibiotics, the second time I'm not sure. But very disappointed in the product.

nuvaring is easy to use and it was nice not having to take a pill everyday. i only felt it once during sex, my boyfriend never did. but i had random nausea and cramps after the first week. the second week my cramps were worse and i discovered i was not really in "the mood" for sex or anything else really. after the first 3 weeks, i had cramps so bad that i had to call into work for two d
