It is much harder to cough up mucus from the lungs when you have emphysema, and this makes it a lot easier for me, as it takes less effort to clear lungs.

I am taking C---co's K------d Mucus Relief, Guaifenesin 400mg which is the same drug as standard Mucanex, but in a smaller dose, 8/day, 4 hours of part. It is $9.75 total on sale for two bottles of 200 ea. which equals 400 pills. I tried Mucanex, which the doctor recommended, but I thought it was too expensive and stopped it and got the above. 1st time user - recommended by a friend for chest congestion - did help with the congestion but caused me to be dizzy. Relieved to read other reviews that mention similar side effects. Manufacturer's package should mention this since it seems to be common (at least based on reviews here). Also experienced some gas and diarreah (sp?).
