I have been disappointed with the results. I also developed a problem having excess gas after I went on zetia, but have found that if I take calcium too, it reduces the problem. I have also had trouble with fatigue since being on zetia.

Since taking ZETIA I have developed a problem with tendinitis in my left shoulder, elbow and hand .. Not sure if related. Did not receive a clear answere from my physicin either .. Not sure if related ??? After 5 weeks on Zetia/Lipitor (long time user) LDL dropped to 48 HDl is 71 (always good though in 60's) Chol 140 down from 160

I take 40mg of Lipitor a day but could never get my total chol. level lower than 212 no matter how hard I tried. My Dr. added 10mg Zetia to my Lipitor and after 6 weeks my total chol. was 184; 4 1/2 months later when it was again taken it was 180.
