Comment:
I suffered from a side effect - swelling of my left breast and tenderness. Pain in my left breast when I pushed on it. Mammogram and ultrasound showed nothing but signs of growth of normal breast tissue. This side effect went away one month after I stopped taking this drug.

Comment:
Although Avodart reduced the frequency of my urination, it also decreased my libido severely and virtually prevented me from having an erection. I discontinued the drug after speaking to my physician, however, at 6 weeks later, the side effects still persist!

I've only taken one of these but I will never take another. Its caused lethargy, depression, insomnia and joint pain
