Relpax is the only abortive medication that has worked for me. It's tricky because you have to take it at the first sign of a migraine, and it won't work if the migraine has already started. Insurance only covers 4 tablets a month, and since they're around $40 per tablet, it's hard to decide if each headache is worth treating with the expensive pill.
