The medicine works wonders, I came off of 500mg+ oxy a day and began taking 2 8mg strips a day, and I felt that it was really helping me....til I ran out of money, then i had no choice to quit taking them. The doctors' don't tell you that the w/d symptoms for subs are just as bad or worse as any other opiate. All I can say is if you can afford it, I'm sure you'd be better off staying on it for lif ... All I can say is if you can afford it, I'm sure you'd be better off staying on it for life, but if you are unsure of your financial future, beware. Don't fret though, I've been off suboxone for 1 entire week, and every addict knows that seems like FOREVER, and I feel fine. "The Thomas Recipe" helped me although it's nothing official, just vits. and supplements. Stay active, stay positive, even if its just talking a walk each day, and you will make it.

i keep seeing a lot of people saying they cant eat, sleep, and vomit, (i have been on "subs" for almost 4 years ready to stop compleatly) i use to have the same problem. But i relised i was taking WAY to much the had me on 8/2 mg twice a day. I had a bad drug problem and high tolerance but as long as you remember using this drug is not a replacement to get HIGH and just there so your not ... Show Full Comment

Today i take about a 1/4 film a day i have not told the doctor because4 they still have me on a whole one a day but i feel they are overmedicating us! Best advise take 1/4 see how you feel in about 20 mins take a lil more til you feel comfortable and able to feel NORMAL can i say that? I hope this helps anyone with the same problems i had to find the right doseage without my doctor. Now i always have an appitite i dont get sick but most of all Almost 4 years clean.
