Comment:
Ive only just started taking suboxone and so far so good. Im just wondering though why some of the comments that I have read from people say that they have been taking it for years. I thought that this drug was only supposed to be for a few months as part of a treatment plan. Is there anyone who has gone through the suboxone treatment and no longer takes suboxone? If someone could email me I would ... Show Full Comment

Comment:
Started at 6mg a day. Took myself off cold turkey - went insane. Do not lower your dose and play doctor. I am now down to 2mg a day. I take it, and about 45 minutes later, I feel better, emotionally as well. Concerned too, switching from one opiat eto another. Withdrawals are HORRIBLE. It DOES help pain, I use it for fibroids and endometriosis pain vs. other dangerous treatments.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF LONG-TERM SIDE EFFECTS? I WAS ON PAINPILLS FOR TWO YEARS AND SUBOXONE CURED ME. THE ONLY THING IS THE SIDE EFFECTS I GET ARE SWOLLEN ANKLES AND WHEN I SAY SWOLLEN I MEAN IT. ALSO I GET TIRED IF I AM SITTING IN CHURCH AND IT IS SO EMBARRASSING BECAUSE MY EYES FEEL LIKE THEY ARE ROLLING IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD, LIKE I AM DRUGGED!
