I do find myself experiencing flushed skin, tingling of the hands and feet, cold hands, dry cuticles and brittle nails and bleeding of the gums after brushing. These were never problems for me before. I have been on Diamox for 1 year, beginning with 500mg daily and increased to 1500 mg daily. But this medication does extend the tim ... Show Full Comment

While I have only been on this medication for 2 weeks and have noticed a decrease in the severity of my headaches, the side effects are less than enjoyable-Tingling in the face, fingers, hands and feet, EXTREME fatigue and weakness. I have very little energy and the smallest of tasks take away all of the energy I do have.

I wish the medication wasn't so harsh on your stomach in addition to the numbness feeling in my feet, hands and lips. It is working keeping my pressure at a reasonable level but the long-term effects will cause kidney failure. Please continue with further research to resolve this matter.

I had to quit my job and withdraw from school because I can' ... Show Full Comment
