I had a sever UTI, and the doc gave me keflex, 500mg, 4x/day. Side effects: fatigue, green urine. Within 24 hours i could urinate without pain, and within 3 days the symptoms were gone. I continued taking the meds for the full 10 days.

I have a lot of allergies. Seem to have a problem with most penicillin or sulfa family antibiotics, but can take Keflex. The only side effect I have is a slight burning in my stomach, but it's hardly noticable most of the time.

Had minor surgery and was prescribed this medication to take. Took 1 dose and had a severe allergic reaction. My face, throat and chest was bright red and burned like a sunbuern. My Doctor said to stop taking ASAP and switched me to the Z-pack. Have to take benadryl to counter act this medicine

was prescribe medication for 10 days 2 tabs. Having headaches, runny nose, sinus congestion, and sneezing. The symptoms cleared up on the 7th day of taking the meds. All fine now. Many side effects agressive, argumentative, slurred speech, blurry vision, changes in stool and the yeast infection but thats to be expected with any antibiotic.
