Before Paxil: dread, extreme anxiety, unable to concentrate to the extent of walking away mid-conversation, crying episodes, sleep insomnia, constant desire to cut. During Paxil: good (feels like someone tickles your brain!) Withdrawal: buzzing head, unable to stop crying, unable to sleep. Paxil worked great once it was in my system. Helped stop anxiety and depression and put me on the path back to normal lifestyle. Down side of Paxil - the length of time it took to get off of them (1.5 years) reducing my intake. Went off them for two days and had buzzing in my head, went back on then reduced dosage to get off. Paxil works for me, started with 20mg but still felt irritated, increased to 40mg and feel alot better, noticed when I'm not on it my irritibility increases.
