The reason I am refusing to finish the program is not because of the nausea, dizziness, shakiness, or breast tenderness, because I can deal with those, it's because of the debilitating migraine I have had for the last 3 days. I do not normally have migraines, as a matter of fact, this is the first one I have ever had. If I don't get my period after stopping early, it's back to the drawing board and I will NOT be taking Provera EVER AGAIN!!

I was prescribed this drug due to the fact i am trying to get pregnant for the 2nd time and my PCOS is stopping me from ovulating. This works for getting my period to start, and then on days 5-9 i take clomid to force the ovulation. I should be pregnant within the next 6 months. At Least i am hopeful!

My periods in the beginning were regular (every month) but as I got older my periods start to become irregular. I would have a period one month and not see another one for about 2-3 months. I did not want to be put back on birth control so I continued having irregular periods. My doctor prescribed me Provera because of the irregular periods. My periods in the beginning were regular (every month) but as I got older my periods start to become irregular. I would have a period one month and not see another one for about 2-3 months. I did not want to be put back on birth control so I continued having irregular periods. My doctor prescribed me Provera because of the irregular periods. I was given 10 pills (10 mg) to take for 10 days. Unlike some of the other reviews my period came on the 4th day I was taking the medication. I continued to take them thinking that is what I was supposed to do but now my period has been on for 8 days and I am miserable. I have my heavy days but since being on this medication it has been heavy everyday which makes me more miserable. I didn't cramp in the beginning but everytime I think it is about to stop the cramps come on. If I would have known this medication was going to do this I do not think I would have taken it and just took my chances with my period coming the natural way.

I was prescribed Provera 10mg for 10days, I took Provera for 5 days and on the 6th day my menstrual cycle started. So this med worked perfectly for me!
