all symptoms still here for hypo not a very effective treatment at all im sure there are alot of you feel the same as i do look into natural dessicated thyroid instead it has t4 and t3 already in it for those ppl that are having trouble converting t4 to t3

Celiac and gluten intolerance patients beware! Synthroid has gluten it. I have celiac/gluten intolerance and I have been gluten free for over 10 years and was switched to synthroid recently. Levoxyl has been recalled (which I have been on for over 8 years and never had a problem)and I was switched to Synthroid. I have been on this medication for nearly 40 years, but 10 years ago I developed A-Fib which I believe is directly attributed to taking too much of the medicine. I am going to quit taking this as of now! I caution anyone to please watch your blood work and if it's too high, get off the meds quickly. It makes me itch and my hair breaks off. Once I started taking this drug I sweat alot,the temp. doesn't even have to be hot. My face looks like a beet and glossy from sweat, even when others say it's just comfortable. Is this common?

I still feel very tired and run down, but my blood tests shows my thyroid is at the normal level.
