I just start this med 22 days ago. it works good on me.(10mg per day.) But on the 23 day my body is so itching. I can not sleep because of it. I am waiting for the radioactive iodine treatment . No more pills.

My levels were just slightly in the hyper range and I rejected surgery and radioactive treatment about years later tried this miracle drug. After a few months, the doc started cutting the dosage and cutting back the dosage even more. about 1 year I stopped taking it after going slightly into hypo range. this med. has kept my levels good thought i might be off it by now it's been 4 years now. the side effects muscle cramps back arms legs core blurry vision itchy skin bump on the back of my head that get very soar at times are better than heart problems that landed me in the hospital that's how i found out that i was hyperthyroid and the other med. i was taking the side effects were much worse. b

I have taken Methimazole for over a year now & my thyroid level is getting lower yet my endocrinologist insist i continue taking it. Now im having blurred vision to a point where i cant drive at all.

OMG I cannot take any more of this itching!! Benadryl is not helping either! 30 mg per day all at once. Started 12/17/2012. After 4 days I contracted a cold that is still with me that turned to extreme bronchitis. On 01/04/2013 awoke with leg cramp from h-e-double hockey sticks, such pain!
