I have been diagnosed with Herniated Disc and this medication is what I was given for pain. I think it has done wonders for my pain but I will be glad when I don't have to take it anymore.

Post surgery pain drug that didn’t do much for me even at the 2 every 4 hours dose. I am a big guy though, so that may have had something to do with it. Going to see if I can try something different with my next surgery here in a week.

I have been taking percocet 10/325 since 7/06 to present, but since 8/07 I have been taking as needed, I take percocet only if my pain gets too strong. I had lumber spinal fusion on 11/06 on L5-S1 due to a crushed disc, which broke and a peace of disc material was lodged into my spinal cord, which cause great pain from the back to my foot on the left side, taking Percocet on an empty stomach work ... Taken as directed (and maybe an extra half between doses (@ 10mg) Pain was non existent, no side effects, no cravings, just releif. Yes it took a bit more than prescribed but what doesn't. Including Tylenlol, Excedrin etc. For Pain with minimal side effects... Give Me Percocet every time (degenerative discs 2, 3 & 4 w/pinched nerve down arm and back into hip) Maybe it the type of pain ... Show Full Comment
