I have used restasis for 2 months in preparation for lasik and have developed arthritic swelling in the underside of my fingers and palm of my hands. The swelling has caused two knuckles to temporarily dislocate when I bent my fingers too aggressively.

I have one punctal plug in each eye, use Lotemax, and Eurythromycin for infection. One year later my ophthamologist wants me to use it again. Three days after starting my eyelid with the plug is swollen and feels that the plug is protruding. Pretty miserable. The web site sa ... Show Full Comment

For two weeks following cataract surgery in May, I stopped the Restasis. I noticed the watering stopped and my eyes were not as red. They actually felt better than they had in months. That's when it dawned on me the Restasis was probably the problem wit ... Show Full Comment
