Now in my mid to late 30's I find that any birth control seems to make me foggy in the head, and it's very hard to think clearly. I also feel sad often when on this birth control.

I've been on this pill for about 5 months now, and I hate it. My periods are very irregular, which they never used to be on the last bc I took. That's the reason I got on BC, for period regulation. Either it comes 2 weeks early or it doesn't come at all, or I spot for a day when i'm supposed to get it. I have horrible mood swings, lashing out at everyone, and crying over EVERYTHING! I also have rando ... Show Full Comment

I have been taking this drug for about 3.5 months with little issue. I've noticed a few side effects. The one I don't mind is breast tenderness and enlargement! I could take more soreness if it meant they got even bigger! My appetite swings wildly, some days I'm very hungry, others not at all, but maybe that's just my body! The only very annoying thing is that I find myself very easily crying. Not ... Show Full Comment

I have the worst cramps (which I never really experiences before) to where I can't hardly get out of bed without feeling sick. I tried to switch birth controls many times but my doctors told me to wait i ... Show Full Comment

Microgestin 1/20 is great. I've had no major side effects and I'm feeling very well. I tried Lo Loestrin Fe but it made me bleed everyday. Microgestin 1/20 is still a very low dose pill but with a bit more estrogen than Lo Loestrin Fe so I didn't get all that bleeding. Microgestin 1/20 is a keeper and I'm going to stick with it.
