I loved this product but now they are putting generic lozenges in the nicorette brand bottles. I emailed and asked and they said that they are using a new facility and that is their stamp. The Nicorette products have an M on the 2 mg and F on a 4 mg lozenge. These generic ones have numbers on it and they break in half different and taste different and cause my heart to race and nausea. That's why I paid full price for Nicorette because it does not cause that. I think it's illegal to swap out name brand to sell generic trash at full price. I would give negative stars if I couldRead More Read Less

I have smoked for over 40 years. Average about 10 cigs per day. Have tried Nicorette gum 2 mg for past 3 days and it works very well to stop smoking so far. (Colleague recommended after his use over 1 year) I have not noticed any side effects so far, but it's been less than a week. All I can say, is that initially, it really works very well to stop smoking. Just have to figure out how not to get addicted to the gum for too long.

Very very addictive. Considered smoking to get off of the gum. Is that crazy or what?

I chewed the gum for 2 months, tapering off as I went - it worked for me. Now, if I try to chew a piece, it tastes nasty. I also do clear my throat a lot - long-term side effect perhaps???

My mother-in-law is addicted to Nicorette and has been using it for years. Her teeth are now yellow and porous, her peristalsis is damaged so she has digestive problems, her bones are decalicified and fracture at the slightest fall or stress, and her brain has developed neurological problems. She has since developed lupus and fibromyalgia, yet still insists there's nothing wrong with chewing this gum, even though we've tried telling her thousands of times. She's a former nurse and her husband is a pharmacist! But what does he know? His arguments aren't valid, of course! They don't apply! She can no longer drive, has seizures, and her memory is shot. This gum is destroying her body but she refuses to give it up. Nicotine should be a Schedule 1 drug, but the FDA doesn't have the guts. Read More Read Less

I have noticed for about a year now, and it is getting worse, I keep trying to clear my throat all the time. I feel like I have phlam in my throat, but I don't. Please if you have any suggestions let me know
