I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy. There were four incisions made. Within 24 hours the area around the incisions became red, blistery and very itchy. I had a roaring rash all over my back from this substance and a week later my face and throat started to swell up and I was back at the hospital. I had not had any allergic reactions like this before and now it is ten months after my fusion surgery and I am still having reactions including facial edema
