I had a tubal ligation in 1977. Then in 1983 I had a complete hysterectomy after being diagnosed with endometriosis. I went on Premarin in 1983. Then in 1988 I had a car wreck that paralyzed my left side. My entire left side from my head to my foot still tingles all the time. As long as I take the Premarin (I am now 64) the tingling is minimal. I tried to stop taking the pill when I turned 6

I Totally Agree with Julie P. After a total hysterectomy and removal of ovaries I declined HRT due to media coverage. However, 9 months later I felt very tired, my skin had gone very dry, I was emotional to a fault and my Sex Life with hubby was almost NIL...so I asked my Doctor..who BTW had suggested I take premarin asap...to call in a Premarin Prescription and WOW...NIGHT and DAY!!! After a total hysterectomy and removal of ovaries in 2008, I declined HRT due to media coverage. However, 2 years on I felt very tired, my skin had gone very dry, my libido virtually nil! I decided to see my doctor who prescribed me Premarin. I have been taking this HRT therapy for 2 months now and I can honestly say it has transformed me. My skin is a lot better, flushes have completely gone.
