Significantly lowered my blood pressure in first week. Other blood pressure meds caused stomach issues; this one does not. Although, after about 6 weeks, I developed chronic dry eyes while taking the medication. With my doctors guidance, I have cut my dosage to twice per week. The dry eye problem is much better and my blood pressure is still under control.

Going on 3 months of Benicar HCT after 3 months of Benicar AND Bistolic. Lowered my BP to about 130/80 for the most part but now trending back to 140-150 on top. Lots of chest tightness, light-headedness and just feeling not well. For many it works great, not sure how this will turn out in my case. I'll update if it makes sense. Oh yeah VERY expensive. 54 yrs old.
