I have been on this pill for two months and was a bit apprehensive after reading some pretty bad reviews. However, it's been great (I hope I don't jinx myself, hehe)! The first month I experienced tender breasts and my period was a day early... but also ended a day early which was fine with me since it usually overlaps the weekend. Anyway, the second month my period was on the correct day ... Show Full Comment

I am 16 and began Junel three months ago for a method of birth control and to help extremely, extremely painful periods. The first month, I got my period with minimal cramps (first time in my life!) and the whole thing was lighter and relatively unemotional (also a first). The second month, my period came within the week of inactive pills and only lasted five days! Overall, my acne has greatly i ... Show Full Comment

Junel Fe 1/20 has been an effective birth control method for me. The first two weeks on the pill I had mood swings (similar to PMS). After a couple of months on the pill I gained about 10 pounds. I don't have any spotting problems or other side effects. My prescription company, Express Scripts, requested that I switch to mail order vs pharmacy pick up for this prescription. When I switc ... I've only been on Junel FE for about five days now and I love it! I was on Tri-Sprintec for about four months and hated it, my periods would come late and it made my skin break out CRAZY plus I had terrible mood swings. Now on Junel, my skin is pretty much cleared up, and I feel more leveled out. If you were okay on Yaz, you should be okay on Junel. Plus it's cheap!

    Comment:
I was recently put on Junel FE by my doctor. I was only on it for about a month and it was completely miserable. I bed for almost 3 whole weeks (just started my new prescription today and am still bleeding from Junel). My skin broke out everywhere, I had painful cramps and body aches, and couldn't sleep through the night. I hate everything about this pill. I've been on at least 6 others an ... Show Full Comment
