I was on Junel and gained about five pounds and my breast got one cup bigger, but the weight I gained was very visible. :/ My acne did clear up; however, i did have heavier periods, worse cramps, and would get hot flashes. After i was no longer sexually active I quit the pill immediately.

Super nauseous for the first few days, and now it's off and on (two weeks in). Very uncomfortable vaginal itching and I cry about everything now.

I've been on Junel for about t ... Show Full Comment

The pre-period breakouts are comparable to those from other pills I've been on, but the mood swings are RIDICULOUS- I'm talking going from perfectly happy one minute to sobbing on the bathroom floor the next. The ups and downs are honestly exhausting and I'm pretty sure my roommate thi ... Show Full Comment

I've been on this birth control for about 2 years and so far it's been really effective. No acne, no weight gain! However, I will say this! I do experience bloat, a lot of bloat, and major mood swings that I think are linked with taking this- depression
