I have been on Junel for 4 months. The first 2 months I was bloated, tired, moody. I wasn't liking Junel at all. But for the last 2 months I have felt so much better on it. Im not emotional anymore, I don't have mood swings and I don't feel bloated at all. My periods have been so light to the point where I just spot for a few days. Give this medication a chance, it may work for you. It did for me.

I switched to Junel FE 1.5/30 when my potassium levels came back high in a blood test while taking Ortho tri cyclen. This is my first birth control pill and I'm 100% happy with it. No side effects except for regular, lighter periods.
I have absolutely nothing to complain about, Junel Fe is great!

I am glad to know I'm not alone! I've been taking this pill about 5 months now- experiencing 2 periods a month- extreme mood swings- deep depression and feeling bloated all the time! I finally know why since my Doctor switched my pill. I am going back to my original trusted pill ASAP.
