This is effective for a birth control method. I did the Sunday start - and took it 5 days within the start of my period so it was effective immediately. I was only on it for 3 weeks & here is my review --- I did experience high breakouts more than normal, super bloated, I did gain some weight, I wanted to cry all the time over the smallest things, I have anxiety and right when I popped the pi ... To name a few of the issues this drug has given me: headaches/migraines with increased frequency, severe abdominal pains, nausea, mood swings, extremely strange periods, chest pains, tender breasts, and very freque ... It also gave me 2 yeast infections one I still currently have so I recconmend that this birth control not be used. I'm only 16 and it was my first bc. a ... Show Full Comment

Women and girls, please drop this pill if you are experiecing depression, anxiety, dizziness, mood swings, and altogether bouts of unhappiness like me. Talk to your doctor but do not dismiss the fact that these HORMONES do mess with your body and are to be taken very seriously! I don't wish the last 6 months I experienced upon anyone.
