This is my third birth control pill that I have been on and have been taking it for 4 months. Loestrin FE was my first at age 16, then Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo at 18, and now Junel FE 1.5/30 at 20. I have a tendency to produce excess body hair (black hair on lower abdomen which I get bi-weekly electrolysis for) and this medication has made it so much worse. I have been sexually active throughout the four months that I have been using it and it has worked for me (no pregnancy). It's so convenient once you get into the routine of taking it everyday. I take the pill in a very timely manner (I take it at 7:45am every day without fail) and I have not exp ... Show Full Comment

I switched from Kariva to this after Kariva got discontinued. I'm on my third month of this pill & it has done nothing for me.. My acne got worse and I've gained weight. This month, my period came before the end of the pack.. which was annoying, yet I've still had the usual cramps & migraines since then and I'm on the sugar pill week. I have one more month of these pills an ... Show Full Comment
