I've taken minocycline 4 nights in a row, one capsule before bed. The first day I noticed a sore/dry throat. The second day - I can't remember the second day... The third day (yesterday) I had a sore throat, fatigue, light headed, confusion, and shallow breathing with a feeling that I am not taking in enough oxygen. Last night I woke up multiple times in desperation for water and shallow breathing ... Show Full Comment

Causes stomach upset! Instructions from pharmacy say not to take for 1 hour before or 2-3 hours after meals and meds (i.e. on an empty stomach). This conflicts with what WebMD says about taking it with food. When following pharmacy directions it's hard to find two 4-hour stretches of time without food each day to take the medicine.
