500 mgs 2x a day. sores on tongue and throat and stomach very upset even after drinking a lot of fluids and waiting after eating. Very tired and a lot of back pain calling my doctor to switch to something else. Cleared up UTI almost immediately though

I was directed to take one 500Mg pill twice a day for 3 days. First day, I experienced some stomach cramps and diarrhea. The second day my muscles were aching and I was not feeling all that good. That night I was up all night with severe pain in my hip. I still didn't connect the dots so I took another pill. By 10am I could not move. I was in severe pain in my hip mostly but other joints ... After having had a hysterectomy due to fibroids I began having multiple uti's and was prescribed cipro several times. The uti;s cleared up, but I had flu like symptoms and horrible panic attacks and palpitations. I didn't connect the panic attacks and palpitations to the cipro right away, unfortunately.
