I have had severe side effects. Constant vomiting and dizziness. I almost blacked out this morning to the point where my vision went black and my hearing faded out. This stuff has really messed me up. Got rid of all he urinary pain, but at this point, I'd rather have that pain back. This is terrible.

I have used this med since my 20's and I am now 70yrs old. It has always been a life saver for me. I have only had minor side effects, no problem and oh the relief and it works fast. Just stay well hydrated. ?? Rose

I had a very bad reaction to this stuff. I rarely get bladder infections but tried AZO pills when I had an acute UTI . It made the pain so much worse and caused my hands to have extremely painful cramps every time I'd try to urinate. I stopped taking it after a few doses and the hand cramping went away. I ended up taking antibiotics, which took care of the UTI.

I tried this a few years back when I had a UTI 2 times and it worked very well. Now here I am using it again for what I believe is a UTI but not 100% I didn't have painful urination I just kept peeing every 5 to 10 minutes all night long. So I bought some of this to try and correct that issue took 2 and well this time my pee looks like period blood not orange which worries me and I have been having severe stomach cramping and nausea it feels like I have kidney stones so I guess to the doctors office I go again. Right now I am peeing less but I feel as though I've been kicked hard in the stomach. It is however a great medication for UTI's so I highly recommend it but I guess I am having a different issue this was just my first assumption. Read More Read Less

I took AZO standard as directed. Within one hour I was vomiting. Everything that came up was stained dark orange. In the past I have gotten slight stomach upset but nothing like this. I spent the next 3 hours on the bathroom floor taking small sips of water that would immediately come back up. I took 6mg of Zofran with little relief. I will NEVER use this product again.

Anytime I feel a UTI coming I go to the drug store to get this medication - my mom and my sister do as well. We swear by this medication. Azo really helps stop the pain and frequent urge to use the bathroom until you can get to your doctor for antibiotics. Occasionally I'll use Azo and cranberry juice to help stop a UTI that I feel is still in its early stages. Although I hate the taste, I do recommend Azo to anyone who's suffering with a UTI.

I used to have chronic UTI's for many years. This used to be a prescription med. given along with antibiotics. I had severe pain with urination and the frequent urge to urinate even though I couldn't except for blood. These pills instantly and completely removed the pain. Both the Rx and OTC ones. I only took one at a time which lasted almost the whole day and never needed more than 2 before the antibiotic kicked in. No side effects except the orange urine which is stated on the box and expected. Just wore a light days pad for a couple days. Thank God for this med! p.s. for those having other side effects, more is not necessarily better :) My prayers go out to anyone suffering from this awful infection <3Read More Read Less

I had a UTI that came on suddenly and was very uncomfortable - AZO relieved the feeling of "pressure" on my bladder, the frequent urge to urinate, and burning of urination. Last quite a long time as well.

The product was very effective and I would recommend using it, but I will not continue the use after having the bloody urine after use along with stomach and abdominal pain.

I have had my share of UTI's, AZO is my bestfriend when it comes to UTI's. I carry some in my purse cause you never know when one might come on. This takes away the burn and the frequency of a UTI.

I had 2 UTI infections back to back and this product made things so much easier for me. It took away the pressure, and burning with urination. One single pill works for 12 hours. I only took half the dosage. This is good stuff, I highly recommend it until your antibiotic starts working.

Took 3 Advil, which are usually very effective. Pharmacist advised that this would be better for UTI. Cannot believe how well it relieved my discomfort. Highly recommend for sufferers with the symptoms described.

After several days of using tylenol to combat crippling UTI symptoms, my doctor recommended I try Azo to get some relief. Azo did alleviate all of the urgency, burning, and pain that I had been experiencing, however, there were a couple side effects worth noting. In addition to giving me florescent orange pee (which was pretty cool), I became very tired soon after taking it and once the pill began to wear off, I became very nauseas. I'd definitely recommend taking this pill with food and being careful not to handle the pills too much (they stain everything). All in all, Azo did alleviate my symptoms, which was a huge relief.Read More Read Less

This medication definitely got rid of the abdominal pain, urgency, and dysuria (painful urination), but it did leave me feeling dizzy and feeling like I was about to have a fever. I have taken this medication one other time before and it also helped with the symptoms. It is an overall great medication to get rid of any urinary-related pain, but just be aware of the side effects and drink lots of water!

Medical wisdom would say that I am NOT a candidate for AZO because I have a enterovesicular (fistula from colon to bladder). This leads to frequent UTI's. I have used AZO on three occasions without any side effects. It is VERY important to take this on a full stomach and only for two days (6 treatments).

Almost instant allergic reaction, scalp itching, face and arms itching, face turned bright red and burning, horrible itching and nauses. I am out of the country and suffering in a strange hotel. Don't know what to so, afraid to go to sleep in case my throat swells during the night. If I do you all will know why. Never ever take this drug.

I took 2 pills and within 15 minutes, I was vomiting which I hate more than anything. I NEVER ever have stomach issues so this was odd! However AZO just about completely left me symptom free. I was glad that I had read that the medicine would make my urine fluorescent orange! It will be a tough decision to take this medicine again.
