I have not experienced another migraine headache since the first time I've used this medication, which have been about 6 months. I don't know if it has anything to do with the first dose of this medication or not. I usually have a migraine every other month, but since using this medication, I haven't experienced another one. I have suffered from frequent migraine's,for over 10 years, I have tried a lot of diff. meds, when I first started using Imitrex Injections, they worked great after a while, my migraine's stopped responding to this medication, It really worked at first and I was very pleased, now nothing!

I have suffered from migraines for 15 years and have tried everything. I was given the injections recently and had to use them while at work for the first time. Easy to use but after about 5 minutes I felt like I was having a heart attack that lasted about 20 minutes. I had left arm pain and pain into my jaw and almost called an ambulance. I have had migraines for 9 years and when I was prescribed imitrex injections I was scared. But within 30 minutes of taking an injection my migraine was gone and I was up and running doing the things I enjoy. The injection did get red and sore at the sight of injection.
