The package is impossible for someone with a migraine to open!!!!! I've had to get help every single time. It takes well over 2 hours to start working (compared to brand name Maxalt mlt at 15 minutes) and doesn't take the headache completely away - even mild migraines, and for severe ones it doesn't work at all. I generally feel hangover-y for up to 2 days after taking it, and tha ... Show Full Comment

My head hurt so bad today that I wanted to cry. From my temples to the base of my skull, with nausea... I felt miserable. I didn't take the time to read the instructions before I swallowed 1 tablet (not sure if it was supposed to be swallowed, or allowed to dissolve?), but it worked fantastic, & very fast! :-) Within 10-15 minutes my head was feeling almost 100% better. The patient info sheet listed a lot of ingredients that I do not eat or am not normally exposed to. I had no choice but try the generic. I had a difficult time opening the wrapper with a migraine. Once open the pill did not immediately dissolve. I had to take a teaspoon of water in m ... Show Full Comment

I took Maxalt MLT for 10 years, and it was amazing, though very expensive. My migraines were gone within 10 minutes and never came back the next day. The only symptom was lightheadedness for a couple of minutes, but not severe at all. I was fully functional for the rest of the day after taking brand name Maxalt. I was very happy when a generic came out, Rizatriptan Benzoate by Glenmark generi ... Show Full Comment
