My head hurt so bad today that I wanted to cry. From my temples to the base of my skull, with nausea... I felt miserable. I didn't take the time to read the instructions before I swallowed 1 tablet (not sure if it was supposed to be swallowed, or allowed to dissolve?), but it worked fantastic, & very fast! :-) Within 10-15 minutes my head was feeling almost 100% better. I used to ta ... Show Full Comment

After having taken Maxalt 10mg for over 8 years, my insurance company decided that I should start taking a generic. The patient info sheet listed a lot of ingredients that I do not eat or am not normally exposed to. I had no choice but try the generic. I had a difficult time opening the wrapper with a migraine. Once open the pill did not immediately dissolve. I had to take a teaspoon of water in m ... Show Full Comment

I took Maxalt MLT for 10 years, and it was amazing, though very expensive. My migraines were gone within 10 minutes and never came back the next day. The only symptom was lightheadedness for a couple of minutes, but not severe at all. I was fully functional for the rest of the day after taking brand name Maxalt. I was very happy when a generic came out, Rizatriptan Benzoate by Glenmark generi ... Show Full Comment

Makes me sleepy but this drug works wonders. I used to throw up if I had my sumatriptan without food but now I can wake up right away in the morning and take rizatriptan (dissolvable kind) and feel great within a couple hours. Best migraine treatment I have found yet. Take with Aleve to keep away repeat headaches and reduce inflammation.
