I seem to experience being irritated. Could be due to steroid use. Also I didn't realize you need to hold the eye shut for a couple of minutes to keep the medicine in as much as possible.

prescribed after cataract surgery but while it helped my eyes I ended up with THRUSH in my mouth. Cracked lips, numbness of tongue, red gums, dry mouth. Reaction to Steroids. Cannot taste food. Given meds for thrush but reaction to the meds was leg cramps, so just having to finish out the drops and hope steroids clear out of body soon.

Ive been on this medication since I was 9 years old, when I had cataract and glaucoma surgeries. Im currently 21 and I haven't had any issues with the medication during all this time. It soothes my eyes and reduces redness and inflammation. Im also on biological medication so maybe that also helps reduce the inflammation. I have minimal sight in the eye so I can't tell if it makes the vision blurry.

These drops saved my eyeballs twice so far! Only a slight increase in eye pressure but still within limits, took them like a champ and my eyes love them!
Every patient is different and I wanted to add some hope for people who read here, as I see there are a lot of people who experienced bad side effects..

I had used Pred Forte Eyedrops for a week since few perfume drops went in my eye and caused inflammation. After gradually stopping its use as per the doctor's direction, for 2 days it was good, But then inflammation was back. Now have to use this over a month, gradually reducing's the number of times of use each day. Make sure you use some drops like Refresh Tears along with it to avoid burning/ irritation.

Used to treat epithelial cells following Lasik. It treated the issue but side effects were terrible - extreme anxiety, depression, constant feeling of pressure in face, exhausted and extremely irratable.

Think twice before taking this. It worked to take away the inflammation but masked and infection and caused lazy eye that my doctor now says surgery will fix. A simple eye problem has now turned into a major one.

Taking for a month after closed angle glaucoma operation. Down to twice a day. Anxiety now and then. Don't know if it is the drug or the awful experience of glaucoma pain previously. Have two docs who want me on it so I will follow their direction

Had PRK surgery, the medication little by little was making me dizzy each day I got dizzier. My sugar was ALWAYS 120 everyday it got higer and higher over 240. I stopped using this medication after 7 days the doc wanted me to use it for a MONTH. If you use this med and feel dizzy get off it ASAP and call your doc. ALWAYS READ REVIEWS AND SIDE EFFECTS. MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE!!

I had cataract surgery and a limbal relaxing incision to both eyes. I have been on this medication for nearly two months since I had both eyes done separately. My only complaint is the burning following placing the drops in my eyes. My vision is milky at first. I like that you slowly decrease the dosage. I had no trouble with bad taste, etc. as others reported.

I have been taking this medicine for about 3 weeks 3x a day(cornea transplant). I'm sure it's doing the job it's supposed to but in the process......the bad taste, sick to the stomach, burning as it goes down feels like indigestion. I hate thinking about taking it because the taste in your mouth takes forever to go away. My stomach has been hurting for the past couple of days with a burning feeling. Will call the doctor monday morning.
