My husband & I have no children at home. After taking medication and not able to go to sleep, I get out of bed, cook, work in my office, drive the car etc. The next morning I remember none of these events. Saw the cake and ask who gave it to us. When I get up at night I make a list of what I am doing, I have NO memory of anything I did. Does anyone have this reaction to taking this medication?

I work night shift and sleep during the day but found myself waking up after about 2 or 3 hours and needing to take Benadryl to sleep.

It works great to put me to sleep but after 2-3 hrs I am awake-then take over the counter to help the ambien. Almost nightly I cook, eat, walk, fall asleep standing or sitting on edge of the bed. Lots of different strange things. I find things moved or cooking items out. I thought I was going crazy, so I asked my daughter to stay with me for a few days. She had to escort me back to bed safely. ... Show Full Comment
