my doctor prescribed a 10 day trmtmt, 0n tsp, 4 times a day. After first 5 days I failed to swish it on a regular basis. Very yucky taste. My tongue has stung so that I live on lozenges. Now eating 4 to 5 Yoplait daily. It's helping and refraim from eating breads, and sugars. Mouth is still very chalky.

i was on two different medications for a viral infection after the second one killed the infection i got thrush my tongue felt like sandpaper my stomach made weird noises my chest burned and my eyes burned.i prescribed nystatin and it seemed to be working great and quickly. when i finished it i was sure it was gone so i dank beer and ate like i normally do and it came back 2 weeks later now im on

I had a bad case of bronchitis and was on antibiotics and steriod inhalers. I got a bad case of thrush all over my tongue, mouth, throat and it was on my vocal cords...the ENT gave me DIFULUCAN for 5 days and 14 days of the Nistatin. It cleared it up. ALSO a really good tip that my old ENT gave me as I had this once before from a steroid inhaler...HE TOLD me to mix 50/50 of the mouthwash CEPACO

My 6 week old daughter was prescribed Nystatin due to thrush and after 2 days of using it she experienced painful abdominal pains she cried in pain after each feeding as I read reviews on this medication I realized that it is one of the side effects so I stopped the medication and will be speaking to her Dr.

Very little difference. I am now on the generic for Diflucan. Strangely when I asked a pharmacist about Diflucan for this, he said it would not work. Well, it has worked better so far than the liquid nystatin. Read where a woman said she got the thrush from her usage of nicotine gum.
