I have interstitial cystitis which is a very painful bladder disease. This medication was helpful in calming the flare ups of the symptoms, but since is stains the urine blue, it did cause some problems. The dye in it caused permanent staining and a blue "ring" around every toilet bowl that I used. Very embarrassing.

i was prescribed this med after green light laser prostate surgery d/t frequency & urgency.
after the first 2 pills taken abt. 4hrs apart my symptoms were exascerbated- more frequent urination due to a rapid onset urgency. i discontinued use after the 2 pills
