This medicine didn't prove to releave any anxiety for me. I tried the prescribed does and felt even more anxious for about 2 months. I then reduced the dose by 7.5mg in the evening (down from 15mg) and felt slightly less anxious. After trying this for a few days I decided to quit altogether. I took it for a little bit over 3 weeks, but it hasn't done much. No side effects or anything though. Helped me a lot in falling asleep, but not much besides that. I still have panic attacks. I guess I'll have to try something else.

I've taken lots of SSRIs to help with my anxiety. This is more effective than anything else I've taken.
I did experience an increase in irritability on onset however, it was worth waiting out. I highly recommend this drug as its increased my quality of life noticeably with few to any lasting side effects.

I have taken Buspar for almost 2 years now and I must say that I am quiet happy with it. Since I have anxiety and pretty bad PMS, I take it every day. It took a while for it to "kick in", several weeks. I only take it at night because it makes me really drowsy (that's the only side effect).
