I've been taking HA for about a year for knee pain, 2 a day, honestly couldn't say that it does anything, I'll give it a "big maybe" rating. I've had the HA shots every six months for a few years and they definitely work as does celebrex. I'd say take the pills (couldn't hurt) but don't expect miracles.

I am raving about Lubrisyn, an oral HA which I take in a glass of water. I had the injections and they lasted about two months and were painful and a lot of trouble. The oral works in 2 days and helps ALL my joints. Why are we not hearing more about this? I took 8 NSAIDs daily for pain Now - 0

Have had pain in both knees for several years, have had some relief with glucosamine/condroitin. but the relief when I added hyaluronic acid was dramatic. Initially taking 200mg daily. I plan on 1oomg for maintenance.

I also have moderate knee stiffness and pain ... Show Full Comment
