My experience with this drug has been good until I switched pharmacies. I don't know if there is a difference in the effect of this drug whether it is brand name or generic. I'm on the 1mg mint green colored tablet and before I think it was a different color when I was going to the other pharmacy. Can you help me?

Relieves anxiety/panic, yes. But Klonopin caused, in me at least, after about 6 or 7 yrs on it from 1mg to .5mg to .25mg (finally off it now), a range of other "paradoxical adverse reactions". Sex drive = increased to the point of sexually compulsive behavior. Anger / irritability / rage level(s) = WAY up above where it should be...we're talking seriously potentially violent here, ... i think this is the best medicine i have ever used for my muscle spasms in my back because of a back surgury i have had!

This drug greatly helped me deal with panic disorder. However, my Dr. had me stop taking this drug "cold turkey" after a month and a half of use because of suspicion of an alergic reaction. The withdrawals have been horrible!! They include psychosis, paranoia, rage, thought disorder, tremors, pain and some of the worst panic attacks that I have had. So far I have been off of work ...
