Comment:
I started to use VesiCare 5 mg about ten days ago. It works like a charm to control the frequent urination... but afer three days of taking this med. I got a disabilitating back pain and blurred vision that send me to the doctor. My labs indicate that I also had a kidney infection and high liver enzimes. I decided to stop taking VesiCare. I may give it taking half a pill each day.

l started using Vesicare 10 mg in 2006... l was very satisfied after having many different drugs supposed to have the same effect. BUT, l would like SOMEONE can EXPLAIN that to me : its cost was $108.30 for 30 pills, now it is $238.00... in my case my Insurance refused to reimburse it a long time ago.... l am back to several trips to the bathroom every night... l really don't see such a jump on t ... works a little bit. not goiing as much and able to void more effectively when i do go. I cannot take this medicine though because of the migrains it is causing me. The pain and nausea are bad enough but it has caused me to have migrains with auras and my vision is so bad that i cannot see clear enough to read when it happens and it lasts for a hour or so before it ends. This medication has caused greatly blurred vision to the point my eye doctor told me to stop taking it immediately. He did not know if the blurred vision would be reversible once I stopped the medication.

I suffered from cauda equina syndrome and routinely perform intermittent self catherization. Since nerve function is slowly returning to my bladder I have experienced OAB and have not been able to sleep through the nights. I have been prescribed vesicare and it worked to treat my OAB in a week. My ability to void in between my ISC's went from three hours to about seven hours. Not sure if this i ... Show Full Comment
