I received the Kenalog shot 2 times for migraines induced by allergies. It was very effective. I to received the craters one on my butt and one on my deltoid with discoloration. Its due to it shrinking the fat cells. If the nurse pulls the needle out and a trail of the steroid is leaked thru to the surface this will occur. Make sure the z track it. I was given this shot by my doctor to treat allergies and wasn't told of the side effects, or that it was a steriod. I would not recommend this drug. I would advise anyone thinking of getting this shot to research before doing so. There are plenty of side effects and I don't think they are worth it. Every since having this shot, I've had difficulty sleeping, fatigue, muscle weakness, mood swings
