I just started taking this medication. But So far it seems to be taking care of the problem. The only draw back is that it is making my stomach upset but, that is easlily remedied.

Acyclovir has helped me control my herpes and helps outbreaks to heal quickly. I usually require a week or less of treatment and I'm OK again.

Didn't work for me. I have to take the brand name, Valtrex. Also the generic has to be taken 2 to 3 times a day compared to once. But the cost is excellent compared to the very expensive Valtrex.
