This has been a nightmare. I need to stop taking this as my memory is shot and it is no longer effective.

I have been on Ambien CR 12.5 mg for almost a year. I am able to sleep but I sleep-EAT and have conversations that I don't remember. I have researched and found that these side effects are common if you don't go straight to bed after taking the med. I guess memory loss worries me the most but I'm afraid I won't sleep if I go off this medication.

I have been taking Ambien for over 6 months and have experienced SEVERE memory loss. I will have a conversation on one day and not remember it the next. This is not a isolated incident either. But it works great for sleeping.
