Not sure what the negative reviews are about, but Mucinex D works wonders. I have a severe head cold and asthma so breathing normally is essential. I've been taking it for 2 days now and I am sleeping much better (because I can breathe) and the congestion is clearing out swiftly (thats what an expectorant is supposed to do). I avoided a trip to the hospital so I am very happy.

This medicine has caused me alot of grief. I highly suggest to read all of the reviews and all of the information on this product before taking it. I failed to do that and I blacked out while driving and wrecked my car. You always hear how good Mucinex is but I can promise you that I will never take it again. I have had a chest x-ray, cat scan and lots of blood work and everything was good.

I have seasonal allergies and this drug works really well for me. My children and husband have trouble taking this drug. It does raise your blood pressure.
