I break out in hives anytime I drink alcohol with the iron pill. Also experience itchiness and redness in vagina area at the beginning of the pill for about 10 days. It has been effective. 3 day very light periods have been wonderful. But after 6 months it's time to move on and try something different.

I have been taking Loestrin for about 8 months now, and I absolutely LOVE it! It helped relieve my acne and has really helped with my periods, which before were always regular or heavy. However, when I started taking this pill, I began getting period symptoms, which I had never experienced before. Other than some mild cramping, I have had a really good experience with this pill! It comes in a litt

I was very happy with this drug. Worked well and I had little to no side effects. Only thing was that I would not get my period every month, it would skip around, which I'm not complaining! Some of these reviews are ridiculous. Please keep in mind that each medication is different for each person. Just because someone had a bad (or good) experience, doesn't mean you will too!! Anyway, I've been taking this for about 3 years now. My only side effects are frequent yeast infections (i take probiotics to prevent them- works really well) and a slightly decreased sex drive. Overall, I'v

I definitely recommend this! I switched to Loestrin 24 FE after taking ortho tri cycles for 8 years. I have been on this for a year and the weight I gained with the previous pill melted off and my sex drive came back! The only side effect was some acne right before my period which I've never had before.
