I've been on a variety of different pills and this is by far the best I have experienced. Short periods, controls my acne, does not cause weight gain, no extreme moods or swings and doesn't decrease sex drive. Overall, very please and would recommend to others.

I'm on my second week of taking Loestrin 24 FE. I seem to be fairly emotional, my appetite has decreased and I'm spotting pretty bad. Also, I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but my vagina has been itching like crazy (I know it's not an STD because my boyfriend and I are both clean). I have read some things that saying other people are having the same issue, so hopefully I'm not alone. I did make a doctors appointment just to be safe. So far, I do like it. I haven't gained any weight, my sex drive hasn't decreased and I'm not EXTREMELY emotional.

I took Loestrin 24 Fe for about three years, starting when I was 19. The first couple years went very smoothly. The water weight I gained on Ortho Tri-Cyclen fell off within a couple weeks, and I no longer had mood swings. I stopped taking Loestrin after my skin started to break out about a year ago. I took Loestrin 24 Fe for about three years, starting when I was 19. The first couple years went very smoothly. The water weight I gained on Ortho Tri-Cyclen fell off within a couple weeks, and I no longer had mood swings. I stopped taking Loestrin after my skin started to break out about a year ago. It has gotten steadily worse, but since I had no problem with it for so long (or really ever as a teenager) I figure it was an independent hormonal change. I have switched to Beyaz, but would fully recommend Loestrin if it works for you.

Thought I would give this pill a chance since I kept hearing how great it was (also because I hate using condoms and I am in a monogamous relationship). Thought I would give this pill a chance since I kept hearing how great it was (also because I hate using condoms and I am in a monogamous relationship). I love this pill for the most part, but I hate having to take a pregnancy test every month because my period is non-existent or really late.
