I was very happy with this drug. Worked well and I had little to no side effects. Only thing was that I would not get my period every month, it would skip around, which I'm not complaining! My insurance no longer covers it since they believe there is a generic, but there is not. So I had to switch. Reading the reviews for my new pill (Junel Fe) I am scared to death to take it and wish I didn&# ... Show Full Comment

Some of these reviews are ridiculous. Please keep in mind that each medication is different for each person. Just because someone had a bad (or good) experience, doesn't mean you will too!! Anyway, I've been taking this for about 3 years now. My only side effects are frequent yeast infections (i take probiotics to prevent them- works really well) and a slightly decreased sex drive. I definitely recommend this! I switched to Loestrin 24 FE after taking ortho tri cycles for 8 years. I have been on this for a year and the weight I gained with the previous pill melted off and my sex drive came back! The only side effect was some acne right before my period which I've never had before.

This is by far the WORST birth control EVER!! The first 2 months were fine, then I started getting terrible mood swings and depression. And to top it all, I started to get the worst acne of my life! Worse than when I was in highschool! My face was hurting so bad and not even antibiotics were helping until I actually switched the pill. Do not take this pill if you had previous acne problems, it wil ... Show Full Comment

This is my first experience with birth control medication and I'm extremely satisfied with the results so far. I've been on this pill for a little over two weeks and my skin seems to be clearing up quite well. My breasts feel a bit fuller, but I haven't noticed any weight gain. My menstrual cycle began a few days ago and I hardly noticed because it's been so light. Usually it lasts ... Show Full Comment
